By an Artist, For Artists <3

I have been influenced by communities where art is considered a leisure activity that wastes time. This has made me question whether pursuing a career in the creative field is even worth it. I wonder if I would disappoint those around me if I failed to make something of myself. I believe this is a common concern among creatives. It is one thing to have supportive families, but working in a society that is stacked against you can be disheartening. Often considered as being indolent or not having worked hard enough, and having mediocre opportunities given to us.  I have witnessed firsthand how many creatives have chosen to pursue more "academic" routes because there were no opportunities for them to achieve a career in the arts. It is

heartbreaking that being an artist is not even seen as a viable career.

For every creative, the process of creating is a deeply personal and fulfilling experience. It's a chance to let go of all inhibitions and express oneself freely without any restrictions. It's about staying true to one's element and constantly fostering new ideas that can be shared with the world. However, the process of creating is only half the battle. As creatives, we all want our work to be appreciated and recognised.

There’s a tight niche within even our own communities where the same groups of artists and movements are being promoted and it seems as if there are no opportunities for new faces and fresh ideas. Floppi aims to change this by breaking stereotypes and fostering connections between artists. At a time when we need a strong sense of community, despite the distance between us, I want Floppi to create a bridge. It's a platform that connects artists with an audience that is genuinely interested in their work. It's a space where artists can showcase their creations and receive the recognition and appreciation they deserve.

Accessibility is key; there are no barriers with Floppi.
